Cal Men’s Basketball has a pretty rich history of players making their next stop into the NBA. From Kevin Johnson to Jason Kidd to Ryan Anderson, there’s a ton of talent that has played here at Cal. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that one of the next players to make the jump to the NBA was none other than Jaylen Brown, who ended up going 3rd overall in the 2016 draft to the Boston Celtics.

This was one of my first projects when I started here at Cal Athletics. Trying to infuse some hip hop music that the team was familiar with along with a bit of unfamiliarity so that the song didn’t take attention away from the visuals, I was able to serve up a highlight reel that was a quick and unforgettable has Jaylen Brown’s lone year here at Cal.
